The Perry Joint Fire District is a combination Fire Department.

Staffing consists of full-time and part-time staffing.

Part-time staffing is comprised of either a dependable or a floater position.​

A dependable position is assigned to a shift and can work up to 210 hours per 28-day cycle.​

The floater position is not assigned to a shift and can work shifts that suit your schedule.

The Perry Joint Fire District has historically hired its full-time staffing from the part-time position. This means you will have a better ratio for competition on testing for full time positions.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Ohio drivers license.

State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician Basic/Paramedic
-
You must obtain a paramedic certification in one year time of appointment.​

State of Ohio Firefighter 1 & 2 certification.
