  • The Perry Joint Fire District is a combination Fire Department.

  • Staffing consists of full-time and part-time staffing.

  • Part-time staffing is comprised of either a dependable or a floater position.​

    • A dependable position is assigned to a shift and can work up to 210 hours per 28-day cycle.​

    • The floater position is not assigned to a shift and can work shifts that suit your schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Ohio drivers license.

  • State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician Basic/Paramedic

    • You must obtain a paramedic certification in one year time of appointment.​

  • State of Ohio Firefighter 1 & 2 certification.
