About
The Perry Fire Cadets are a dedicated group of young individuals, ages 13-20, who are passionate about learning and serving their community. Based at the Perry Fire Department, these cadets attend training sessions several times a month where they gain hands-on experience in fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), and rescue operations.
Beyond training, the cadets actively participate in community fundraisers, public education events, and even have the opportunity to ride along with duty crews, offering them real-world exposure to the life of a firefighter and EMT. Their commitment, teamwork, and drive make them an essential part of the future of emergency services in Perry.
